„Lebenslauf von Angelica
Agurbash“
(Wörtlich

I want to tell you a
story – my story.
This is a story of a little Belarussian girl
born in a poor working
class family.
Even though the world
of beauty and happiness
seemed so very far
away,
music had always been
a part of the little girl’s life.
One day a miracle that she always hoped for had happened.
The girl was noticed
walking on the street of her town,
and invited to perform
in a movie.
This was the beginning
of the artistic path.
The most fantastic turn of this path
was the title of Miss
Belarus.
But, after two days of
triumph,
the beautiful dress
and the glittering crown were taken away,
and the girl went back
home
in a shabby bus with
tears in her eyes.
All my life I kept this crown in my heart.
I kept it for my
people, and I kept it for you.
I became a singer.
I loved my country and
my country loved me back.
They tenderly called
me “Papialushka”,
which means
“Cinderella” in Belarussian.
Cinderella was working
hard
to support her family
and to fight her place in the world.
The “Papialushka’s story ended when I met my prince,
a romantic businessman
from Russia.
He offered me a
kingdom and I accepted.
So here I am now – a woman, a singer,
an
actress, with a
message of happiness, beauty and joy.
And so the story continues…
From Belarus with love…
