The Barcelona Eurovision Party has established itself as one of the most anticipated and exciting events in the Eurovision pre events calendar. The second edition was held last March with more than 5,000 Eurofans enjoying the 3-day event as a warm up to the Eurovision Song Contest with live concerts by last year's participants, some former participants who have performed as special guests and candidates from the BenidormFest.
The event is already advancing its programme for next year, where on the 4th, 5th and 6th of April 2024 a new edition will be held, full of surprises and unforgettable moments. Over the last four Wednesdays, through its social networks, the event has been announcing the programme that will make up the third edition of the Barcelona Eurovision Party.
THIS IS THE PROGRAMME FOR THE THREE DAYS OF THE BARCELONA EUROVISION PARTY 2024:
THURSDAY 4 APRIL 2024
EUROfansCLUB
The edition will start with the EUROfansCLUB which lands in Barcelona to kick off 3 days where Spanish Eurofans will be able to enjoy DJs specialized in the festival. The event, with exclusive Eurovision DJs, will take place in Sala Safari (Plaza España) from 00.30am to 5.00am as the starting point of 3 exciting days in the capital dedicated to the festival.
FRIDAY 5 APRIL 2024
ESC YOUNG
This new event will be held on Friday 5th of April from 6pm to 9pm at La Terrrazza at Poble Espanyol with concerts and Eurovision covers performed by the young artists of the festival and TV talents such as Eufòria or the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Families and the youngest members of the Eurofans will be able to enjoy a new unique event with a Eurovision atmosphere.
EURO JUSTICE
Hundreds of artists have performed on the Eurovision stage since the first competition, but many of them didn't end up doing as well as they deserved. EURO JUSTICE opens its stage to give them a platform to showcase their talent once again to Eurofans.
The night's main objective will be to give space to those Eurovision artists who either didn't get to represent their country at the festival or didn't make it to the final qualifying round. It's their turn for a second chance in Barcelona. In addition, the event will feature exclusively Eurovision DJs throughout the night.
The event will be held from 9.00pm to 6.00am with 100% Eurovision music nonstop at La Terrrazza in the emblematic Poble Espanyol at the foot of Montjuic.
SATURDAY 6 APRIL 2024
BARCELONA EUROVISION PARTY 2024
The Barcelona Eurovision Party, which will be held on Saturday 6th of April, will continue to be the highlight of the three days. Following last year's success, the event will be held at the Sant Jordi Club, creating an atmosphere as close as possible to that of the Eurovision Song Contest.
There will be a glimpse of what will happen at the Eurovision Song Contest in May 2024, with participants of 2024 coming to Barcelona to promote their song before their performance in Sweden, which will host the festival in 2024. On the other hand, as in the last editions, the event will feature acts who have already participated in previous years in the festival and who will be announced very soon.
In addition to the already announced programme, activities related to the Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Barcelona over these three days to bring Europe's biggest audiovisual spectacle even closer to the public.
