"RUN WITH THE LIONS"
LRT richtete auch 2019 wieder eine "Mammut"-Vorentscheidung aus. Allerdings hat man die Anzahl der Shows von neun auf sieben reduziert: Es gab 4 Vorrunden, 2 Semifinale und das Finale am 23. Februar 2019. Die Bewerbungsfrist lief bis zum 10. Dezember 2018. Es konnten sich komplette Acts bewerben, aber auch Interpreten ohne Titel oder Komponisten ohne Interpreten. Es wurden ausländische Komponisten zugelassen, aber die Interpreten mussten Litauer sein. Die Vorrunden wurden voraufgezeichnet. Aus jeder Vorrunde qualifizierten sich durch 50/50%-Mischvoting 6 Acts. Die Juroren waren: Jonas Nainys, Ramūnas Zilnys und Vytautas Bikuso. Sasha Song, ESC-Teilnehmer 2009, erschien zu einer Probe nicht, wurde daraufhin disqualifiziert und mit einer Strafe von 2.000 Euro belegt. Die beiden Semifinale fanden am 9. und 16. Februar 2019 statt.
Sieger wurde Jurij Veklenko mit dem Titel "Run With The Lions".
Jurijus Veklenko war bereits Backing Vocalist beim ESC 2013 und 2015.
